📷 Evacuation of American aircraft ramps in Al Udeid, Qatar 🔹 Satellite images show the evacuation of the ramps for KC-135, KC-46, C-17, and AWACS at Al Udeid base. 🔹 This reflects the efforts of U.S. forces to minimize damage to their strategic assets in the region. 🔹 Transferring these aircraft to alternative bases, while reducing the likelihood of their loss, imposes significant operational costs, including increased distance from the operational area. 🔹 This is particularly important in the air refueling domain, causing more of the refuelers' flight capacity to be used for reaching the area, thereby reducing the amount of fuel that can be transferred.
