New York Times: Hell on the Lincoln Carrier Began from Day One of the War 🔹The New York Times reported: The nightmare of the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln began in the very first hours of the war with Iran; when Iranian missiles and drones destroyed the base in Bahrain, thereby collapsing the logistical backbone of American ships in the region. 🔹According to this report, the Pentagon, considering the threat of Iranian attacks on other ports in the region, was compelled to move its logistics center to Diego Garcia Island; a small island under British command located south of the Maldives and about 2,200 miles from the Gulf of Oman, where 2 groups of American aircraft carriers were operating. 🔹The New York Times stated that this shift in logistics was one of the main factors causing extensive problems on the aircraft carriers that support operations against Iran. 🔗Read the complete report here.
