The Correct Path of Revenge: Lesson from the Martyr in the Midst of Deceptive Narratives 🔹The Strategic Studies Center of the Tasnim News Agency has examined four perspectives on the subject of revenge in its report "Sacred Retribution." 🔹The martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei has had a profound impact on the foundations of national identity and the civilizational horizon of Iran. This blood is the price for standing firm on an ideal that transformed Iran, constrained by geography, into the qibla for the free people of the world. The call for "revenge" in this context is a strategic truth and the only way to protect the integrity of the country against an existential war, and cannot be confined to limited emotional upheavals. 🔹In the life-giving theology of retribution, the blood of the oppressed is a historic trust and an extension of "Thar Allah." Silence or passivity in the face of the shedding of the Imam's blood means accepting the collapse of the spiritual backbone of society and giving a green light to the forces of evil for the destruction of the entirety of Iran. 🔹The enemy targeted the heart of the "Idea of Iran" with this crime. An idea that promises a new order based on justice and dignity against the hegemony of America. However, amidst the narratives, four discourses have emerged: from the "forgetters," who auction national security by denying revenge, to the "hasty ones," who reduce the civilizational struggle to personal enmity. But the truth is that this revenge is a continuous and civilizational path, from the certain punishment of instigators to expelling the oppressors from the region and laying the foundations for a new Islamic order. 🔹The greatest calamity in this path is the "factionalization" of this sacred demand. The blood of the Imam, which should be a unifying factor for the nation and the free people of the world, should not become a pawn in political competitions. Retribution in this sense is an investment for future security and solidifying the logic of deterrence.
