First Hunt of the Gray Eagle ▪️ American drone MQ-1C included in the collection of the IRGC's hunts 🔹 Recently, the Aerospace Force of the IRGC showcased images of the wreckage of aircraft downed during the Ramadan War, among which one image holds particular importance, proving that a model of American-made drones has been downed for the first time by the defensive fire. 🔹 On the 10th Khordad during the clashes after the ceasefire between Iran and the U.S., the IRGC announced that it had downed an MQ-1 drone, and a few hours later, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) also reported that it had lost an MQ-1 drone. 🔹 However, this seemed somewhat strange because the MQ-1 drone, nicknamed Predator, has been out of service in at least some combat units of the U.S. military for several years. 🔹 What was actually downed by the IRGC's air defense system was the MQ-1C reconnaissance and combat drone nicknamed "Gray Eagle," which is in fact a highly upgraded drone designed to meet the reconnaissance and attack requirements of the U.S. Army. 📝 Read the full report from Tasnim here.
