Saudi Arabia's maritime blockade; Sana'a's initiative against Riyadh's breach of promises ▪️ Exclusive report by Tasnim journalist in Yemen 🔹 In one of the most important turning points in recent years regarding the Yemen file, Sana'a announced that due to Saudi Arabia's continued obstruction of efforts to end the blockade of Yemen, free the prisoners, and pay government employees' salaries, it has decided to implement a ban on the movement of maritime vessels towards Saudi ports from Monday. 🔹 Despite the announcement of the ban on vessels heading to Saudi ports, the Yemeni side has kept the door for negotiations with mediators, especially the Omani party, open, but even this opportunity is gradually fading over time. 🔹 Yemenis believe that Riyadh has shown no real intention to take advantage of the dialogue opportunity to end differences and instead resorted to a delaying tactic aimed at increasing economic pressures resulting from the blockade on Yemenis. 🔹 "Hamoud Sharaf al-Din", Yemeni political activist: The leadership of the revolution and the armed forces of Yemen have repeatedly given the Saudis opportunities to end the blockade over the past 12 years, but Riyadh has continued its previous policies.
