Was this Kuwait's response to Iran's hospitality? 🔹In 1990, after Saddam Hussein's invasion of Kuwait, many people from this country sought refuge in Iran. Iran, which had just emerged from the imposed war, hosted Kuwaiti refugees in various cities despite all the hardships. 🔹At that time, Iran condemned the occupation of Kuwait but did not join the U.S. military coalition and adopted a policy of neutrality. 🔹After the war, Kuwait became one of the most important hosts of U.S. military bases in the region; bases like "Camp Arifjan," "Camp Buehring," and "Ali Al-Salem Air Base" have long been home to American forces. 🔹Now, 36 years later, during the recent U.S. attacks on Iran, the capabilities of U.S. military bases in Kuwait are being utilized. 🔹Back then, Iranians welcomed Kuwaitis with open arms, and today we see Kuwait giving its territory to the U.S. to launch HIMARS rockets at Iran. 🔹Today, our conversation is with Kuwait.
