Heat and digestive problems are the main concerns regarding the health of the pilgrims. The head of the emergency organization answered Tasnim: 🔹Our recommendation to the pilgrims is not to postpone their travel to the last days. It should also be noted that the presence in temperatures of 50 to 55 degrees and high humidity makes conditions very difficult. 🔹Pilgrims are better off managing the duration of their stay in Iraq and limiting it as much as possible. 🔹Regarding nutrition, it is recommended that they manage appropriately; eat food according to their needs and lightly, avoid overeating, and not consume any food as some may not agree with their palate and could cause digestive discomfort. 🔹Also, consuming a lot of fluids in hot weather is essential to prevent heatstroke. 🔹If there is any disruption in the process of entering and exiting the borders, even for a few minutes, pilgrims should avoid gathering in the area; as gathering and crowding can be dangerous. 🔹Those who have young children or elderly companions should keep their distance from crowded places to avoid pressure in crowded situations. 🔹These are our main concerns. We hope that by following these recommendations, the pilgrims will help us and other service committees, as well as maintain their health and safety.
