Yerevan: Targeting Iran’s infrastructure is a war crime The Iranian representative to the United Nations in a letter to the Security Council: 🔹The Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemns the atrocious and ongoing aggressive acts of the United States and the deliberate targeting of civilian infrastructure, which has resulted in civilian casualties. 🔹Repeatedly targeting civilian places, especially vital road and rail transport networks, constitutes a war crime. 🔹In the event of continued lack of effective action by the United Nations and the Security Council, Iran reserves its inherent right under international law to take all necessary actions to safeguard its sovereignty, territorial integrity, people, and vital national interests.
