Unprecedented increase in dissatisfaction with the war within the ranks of the U.S. military 🔺The Tehran Times reported that as the U.S. imposed war against Iran enters a new phase, reports indicate a growing discord and dissatisfaction regarding the war among various levels of the U.S. military. 🔺According to multiple intelligence and military sources close to the Pentagon, the refusal of American forces to follow orders from superiors has been rising unprecedentedly. Many soldiers, mid-level officers, and some high-ranking officials believe that the war against Iran has no basis or justification for national security and is an illegal war that was initiated and continued by President Trump to please Israel. 🔺U.S. Defense Secretary Haggest has issued a new directive to CENTCOM as of Wednesday, the 15th July, stating that any expression of dissent regarding the continuation of the war at any level must be met with an immediate and decisive response from the U.S. military's inspection department. 🔺Since the beginning of July, 158 individuals have faced administrative, disciplinary, or punitive actions at various levels due to their refusal to execute orders or public opposition to the war. According to the New Yorker magazine, at least 34 of these 158 individuals are facing imprisonment of between 3 and 14 months.
