Ships flee from Hormuz 🔹New data from the ship tracking company "Kpler" shows that the average daily traffic of cargo ships in this strategic waterway has reached 10 vessels per day, which is an unprecedented record in the last 3 to 4 months. 🔹The significant decrease in traffic in the Strait of Hormuz persists even as the U.S. Secretary of Energy claimed yesterday that an average of 9 million barrels of oil passes through the Strait of Hormuz daily. 🔹However, according to today’s data from Kpler, only 2 vessels passed through this route on Saturday, marking the lowest number in recent days. 🔹On Sunday, 6 vessels were in transit, the majority of which passed through the waterway under Iranian control. 🔸A Kpler manager stated that it seems the U.S. Secretary of Energy pulled the figure of 9 million out of thin air. The reality is that Iran controls the Strait, and only tankers that navigate through the waterway under Iranian control pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
