The United States has confirmed the potential sale of weapons valued at nearly $6 billion to Saudi Arabia and several regional countries. 🔹 The U.S. Department of State announced that attacking munitions with extended range worth approximately $5 billion and engines used in Abrams tanks worth $750 million will be sold to Saudi Arabia; Boeing and Honeywell are the main contractors for these contracts. 🔹 Washington also confirmed a $188 million contract for support of Oman’s F-16 aircraft and the sale of BELL 412 helicopters to Iraq worth $150 million. 🔹 The U.S. Department of State claimed that these contracts support the foreign policy and national security objectives of the country and will not change the military balance in the region.
