The Popular Mobilization Forces thwarted a terrorist plot in western Iraq 🔹The Popular Mobilization Organization announced today the thwarting of a terrorist plot to attack military positions in Al-Anbar province. 🔹In a statement, the organization reported that a group from Brigade 55 carried out a security and inspection mission within its area of responsibility in Al-Anbar province; this operation included desert areas south of the international highway. 🔹According to the Popular Mobilization Forces, during the execution of this mission and using devices to detect leftover wartime materials, a number of mortars and auxiliary equipment prepared for attacks on camps and military positions were discovered and confiscated. 🔹The organization noted that the confiscated materials were addressed by the relevant authorities, and necessary legal actions were taken in accordance with regulations and approved guidelines.
