English translation

We reported in the edition: The threat from the militias in Iraq to the Syrian regime if it acts militarily against Hezbollah in Lebanon. Syrian President al-Assad continues the line that he does not intend to intervene militarily in Lebanon, but does not rule out non-military involvement to help the Lebanese government cope with Hezbollah. The pro-Iranian axis does not really trust these statements. A political figure in Iraq familiar with the issue tells here news that the pro-Iranian militias in Iraq have sent messages to Damascus, stating that if there is military intervention against Hezbollah in Lebanon, they will not sit idly by and are even capable of crossing the border from Iraq to Syria. According to the Iraqi figure, the militias genuinely fear that this is the direction of al-Assad despite his messages. In that context, the Syrian president said yesterday in an interview with Al Jazeera that Syria fears the spread of Iraqi militias that are not subordinate to the Baghdad government along the border. The patron of the militias in Iraq, the Ayatollah regime in Tehran, is also trying to send messages to al-Assad in its own way. Recently, in the framework of regional escalation, Iran attacked the al-Tanf base in the Syrian desert on the border with Iraq, claiming there is an American presence there despite the fact that the Americans have already evacuated the base. Here too, it appears that the Iranians are definitely trying to tell al-Assad – it would not be wise for you to start dealing with Hezbollah in Lebanon.
