Iran's Ambassador to the UN Sends Letter to Security Council Following U.S. Military Actions Against Iran In a letter to the Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council, Iran's Permanent Representative to the UN stated: 🔹Repeated targeting of ports, airports, transport facilities, emergency response services, and other civilian locations is a war crime. 🔹The Islamic Republic of Iran condemns the aggressive actions of the United States and its deliberate targeting of civilian infrastructure in the strongest terms. 🔹These actions constitute a blatant violation of Article 2, Paragraph 4 of the UN Charter, the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity, the prohibition of threats or use of force, and serious violations of international humanitarian law.
