Saudi Arabia's Maritime Blockade; Sanaa's Initiative Against Riyadh's Breach of Commitment ▪️ Exclusive report by Tasnim's correspondent in Yemen 🔹 In one of the most significant turning points in the recent years of the Yemen crisis, Sanaa announced that due to Saudi Arabia's continued obstruction in ending the Yemen blockade, releasing prisoners, and paying government salaries, it has decided to implement a ban on maritime traffic of vessels towards Saudi ports starting this Monday. 🔹 Despite the announcement of the ban on vessels heading to Saudi ports, the Yemeni side has kept the window for negotiations with mediators, especially the Omani side, open, but even this opportunity is gradually fading with time. 🔹 Yemenis believe that Riyadh has shown no serious intent to use the opportunity for dialogue to resolve disputes, instead opting for a delaying tactic aimed at increasing the economic pressures resulting from the blockade on Yemenis.
