Brigadier General Mostafa Izadi; from commanding operational headquarters and ground forces to strategic and cyber domains Learn more about the commander whose appointment was announced tonight by the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces ▪️ Major General Mostafa Izadi is one of the commanders with a very rich record from operational fields to staff and strategic responsibilities. ▪️ In the early years of the war, he was the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Kurdistan province, and subsequently held command of the Hamzeh Seyed al-Shohada Headquarters (1362 to 1364) and the Najaf Ashraf Headquarters (1364 to 1366). ▪️ He served as deputy operations of the General Staff of the IRGC from 1366 to 1368 and was the commander of the IRGC Ground Forces from 1368 to 1371. General Izadi then spent more than a decade (1372 to 1385) as the deputy for planning, program, and budget at the General Staff of the Armed Forces. ▪️ In recent years, he has held strategic responsibilities, serving as the deputy for strategic affairs and overview in the General Staff of the Armed Forces, as well as the commander of the Cyber Headquarters and New Threats Command of the Central Headquarters Khatam al-Anbiya (SAW).
