Yemenis have firmly closed the Bab al-Mandab. 🔹The English company Windward reported today that for 4 days, Yemeni threats have penetrated deep into the territorial waters of Saudi Arabia, closing the only remaining escape route for Saudi vessels by routing around the African continent. 🔹According to Kepler reports, Saudi oil exports, which had decreased from 8 million barrels to 4 million barrels a day with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, have now fallen to less than 1 million barrels. 🔸This development follows Yemen's attack on the Saudi oil tanker Waia near the port of Yanbu in Saudi waters on Wednesday; this ship was supposed to carry nearly 2 million barrels of Saudi oil that had reached a deadlock at Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab through the longer Suez Canal route.
