Baghai: The United States seeks to control the Strait of Hormuz. Foreign Ministry Spokesman: 🔹 Article 5 of the memorandum explicitly emphasizes the management of the Strait of Hormuz in consultation with Oman and regional countries, but the United States intends to take control of this strategic waterway, disregarding this agreement. 🔹 Iran’s recent restrictive actions in the Strait of Hormuz are a responsible response to counter the exploitative aggressors using this waterway to attack Iran. 🔹 Iran believes that the source of instability in the region is the joint interventions of the United States and Israel, which continually reproduce war and violence.
