Yemeni sources told "The Guardian" that they believe Saudi Arabia is preparing for a significant ground operation against the Houthis at sea and possibly also on land in central Yemen, with the aim of breaking the blockade imposed by the Houthis on the ports of the Arab state. Saudi forces have been observed retreating from eastern Yemen in what could be preparations for a ground operation. This is as Riyadh seeks to build a maritime coalition to protect shipping in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandeb Strait from attacks by the Houthis @zeke_korn.
