Iraqi's Emphasis on the Necessity for the U.S. to Return to Its Commitments in Conversation with Japanese Counterpart 🔹 The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan discussed bilateral topics and the latest regional and international developments in a phone conversation this Tuesday afternoon. 🔹 Iraqi considered the current tensions in the region to be the result of the regrettable violations of the U.S. commitments under the Islamabad agreement and stated, "The solution is simple. The return and adherence of the American side to its commitments and signature in the Islamabad agreement will create the conditions for a return to normalcy."
