Baghaei: Hosting the enemies of Iran and colluding with them in igniting fires against Iranians is a sign of ingratitude for the past and a lack of foresight for the future. 🔸 The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs posted a message on X, along with a picture of Iranian specialists in Kuwait in 1991 who had been sent to extinguish the fires of oil wells in Kuwait. 🔹 This historical photo shows the noble and dedicated Iranian specialists striving to extinguish the burning oil wells in Kuwait after the retreat of the Ba'ath regime's army from this country in 1991. 🔹 Even though only three years had passed since the end of Saddam's imposed war against Iran, and the wounds caused by the comprehensive support of Kuwait and other Cooperation Council members for the aggressor regime of Saddam were still fresh, Iran sent a team of 47 oil industry specialists at the request of the Kuwaiti government to participate in the firefighting operations, taking responsibility for controlling 28 oil wells in the massive Burqan field; an event that has been recorded in international documents and reports as part of the largest firefighting operation in history.
