Oil prices rise by 4% amid concerns over new tensions in the Middle East 🔹On Wednesday, oil prices increased by nearly 4% as traders reacted to news of Saudi Arabia joining the United States in attacks on Iraq. 🔹The price of Brent crude futures, which is the global oil price benchmark, rose by 3.9% to $87.30 per barrel as of 4:30 AM Eastern Time. Also, the price of West Texas Intermediate crude, which is the U.S. oil benchmark, increased by 3.8% to $82.30 per barrel. 🔹U.S. and Saudi forces carried out attacks against Iraq late Tuesday night.
