The South Korean government, which previously maintained the position that it would only pursue Hormuz deployment after the US-Iran war ended, has now completely changed its policy and begun preparations for deployment despite the ongoing conflict. Consultations regarding ports of call and operational bases with neighboring countries are also underway.
