Iraqchi: The opening of the Strait of Hormuz depends on compensating for instances of the breach of the Islamabad agreement by the United States. Foreign Minister: 🔹 Negotiations with Oman regarding the legal framework and management of the Strait of Hormuz in determining the traffic route are underway, and we are very close to an agreement. However, the opening of the Strait of Hormuz is contingent on other conditions, including compensating for breaches of the Islamabad agreement by the U.S. 🔹 In the past, there was a TSS (Traffic Separation Scheme) or route that, according to the Islamic Republic, is no longer acceptable for the passage of vessels, and a new TSS must be considered, which will entail extensive technical and legal complexities. 🔹 Given the technical and legal intricacies, we are currently discussing a temporary route. Before reaching a new route, a temporary route will be considered as the basis for the main route. In this regard, negotiations have been conducted among the military and naval forces of the two countries based on existing maps, and with the conclusion of these negotiations, the new route will be defined.
