Versions C and C-1 utilize GPS/INS guidance and an infrared imaging seeker in the terminal phase, and are equipped with the multi-stage BROACH warhead; a system developed for precise engagement with point and fortified targets. 🔹The C-1 version, in addition to these capabilities, has a datalink for receiving target updates during flight. 🔹Importantly, current evidence weakens the likelihood of using Hellfire or a similar small munition. The dimensions of the parts, the structure of the control surfaces, the electronic equipment, and the remaining internal systems align more with a large glide munition like the JSOW. Additionally, this set has lesser compatibility with the SLAM-ER hypothesis in terms of observed architecture; as the SLAM-ER is a powered cruise missile, clear remnants of its propulsion section and missile structure are expected to be observed. 🔹The existing remnants are highly likely related to the AGM-154 JSOW family and more specifically to the AGM-154C/C-1 versions. However, definitive distinction between C and C-1 is not possible without finding a part number, CAGE Code, or specific components related to the datalink.
