Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemning the crimes of the Israeli regime in Lebanon 🔺The Ministry of Foreign Affairs severely condemns the continuation of the military aggressions of the Israeli regime against Lebanon, including the recent brutal attacks on residential areas in the south of this country, which have resulted in the martyrdom and injury of dozens of Lebanese citizens, including women and children. It praises the resistance and perseverance of the noble Lebanese people against the oppression and occupation of the child-killing regime of Israel and emphasizes the Islamic Republic of Iran's support for Lebanon in defending the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of this country. 🔺The brutal attacks of the Israeli regime on Lebanon and the occupation of parts of this country, which accompany the most severe war crimes, take place under the clear support of the United States for this regime. Therefore, the American regime is considered a main partner in the crimes of the Israeli regime in Lebanon and must be held accountable in this regard. 🔺On the other hand, the inaction of the United Nations Security Council regarding the aggressive actions of the Israeli regime, which undoubtedly poses a serious threat to regional and global peace and security, has not only undermined the credibility and position of the United Nations but has also emboldened the Israeli regime in committing crimes and escalating its war provocations. The United Nations and its Secretary-General, as well as all member states, are obliged to take necessary measures to stop the aggressive attacks and war crimes of the Israeli regime. 🔺The Islamic Republic of Iran underscores the responsibility of the Islamic world and regional countries to support Lebanon against the transgressions of the occupying regime and calls for serious action from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the utilization of all its capacities to stop the crimes of the Israeli regime and to hold accountable and punish the criminals of this regime.
