Muslims should make ‘[strong against the disbelievers, and merciful among themselves]’ the core of their thoughts, expressions, and actions. ▪️The purpose of unity is to establish the common points among all at the general level of Islamic communities as the principle. ▪️Of course, efforts will be made to turn points of divergence into common points in a spirit of peace and harmony, respecting all aspects of brotherhood and companionship, as the teachings of the Quran suggest. ▪️What is certain is that all Muslims in Islamic societies must place the Quranic principle ‘[strong against the disbelievers, and merciful among themselves]’ at the center of their thoughts, expressions, and actions when facing global disbelief; thus, Islamic unity and solidarity will be achieved. ▪️Whenever either part of this heavenly message is neglected by Muslims’ actions, they will be distanced from that place of dignity which they rightly possessed in the City of Islam, and this is a rule that does not change. ▪️This rule is one of the basic principles and messages of the Islamic revolution. ✍️ Part of the message of the leader of the Islamic revolution on the occasion of Unity Week | 8/Shahrivar/1405
