A statement from the Revolutionary Guards to commemorate 17 Mordad Journalist Day and the anniversary of the martyrdom of Shahid Mahmoud Sarami: 🔹Greetings and blessings from God to you journalists and media professionals who have been the source of enlightenment and the banner of truth and resilience for the Iranian nation in the most critical circumstances. 17 Mordad is a reminder of the tireless efforts of Shahid Mahmoud Sarami and other esteemed journalist martyrs; a symbol of commitment and affection of media personnel towards the entity of the Revolution and Islamic Iran and its noble and civilization-building ideals. 🔹Today, the region and the world are witnessing one of the most complex and fateful historical battles of contemporary times. Despite all the military efforts and media operations, the U.S. and the Zionist regime have not only failed to achieve the nefarious and delusional goals set forth by the impious and delusional President of the United States, but the new dimensions of the strategic deadlock, the division among Western allies, and the unveiling of their decline have also been illustrated. 🔹World media, acknowledging Washington's inability to overcome the Islamic Republic, explicitly speak of Trump's "defeat" and "self-made trap" in the war against Iran, and even confess that the resulting agreements are nothing but "America's surrender document" in the face of Iran's realities on the ground and negotiating power. These confessions reflect the shining elements of the country's military power and active deterrence; elements that are owed to strategic wisdom, the resilience of the nation, and comprehensive support for the armed forces, especially the "Islamic Revolutionary Guards", as well as the intelligent and precise efforts by revolutionary media in countering the propaganda and hostile exaggerations of the enemies. 🔹In this challenging and meaningful field, the enemy, utilizing all capacities of hybrid and cyber warfare, including artificial intelligence, seeks to distort facts and create a rift between the nation and the sacred establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran, targeting the enormous social capital and sacred national unity. The experiences of disturbances, especially during the coup of 18 and 19 Dey 1404, have taught us that the media dimension of sedition is the most complex and vital part of this equation; where the "first narrative" will belong to whoever enters the field faster, more accurately, and more strategically. 🔹This bitter experience became an opportunity for insightful revolutionary journalists and committed and timely media to focus on accurate and timely storytelling in the recent imposed war, producing and broadcasting lasting images of the resilience of combatants, sincere reports of the presence and resistance of the people, narratives of the martyrdom of the martyrs and their families, and reflections of the unparalleled solidarity of the Iranian nation, which constitutes an inseparable part of the glorious history of this significant and valuable period. Journalists who did not retreat from their responsibilities for a moment under fire during the second and third imposed wars; those who were present alongside rescue forces, security defenders, and resilient people, and some of whom sacrificed their lives for the sake of informing and defending the truth, are deserving of the highest degrees of respect and appreciation. 🔹From this perspective and in the current sensitive conditions; the Islamic Revolutionary Guards sincerely congratulate and celebrate this auspicious day, which is referred to as "Journalist Day" in the historical calendar of the country, to all combatants of awareness and pen and fighters in the field of creating insight in the Islamic community who have preserved the stronghold of narrative and truth with keen insight and steel determination. 🔹Salute and blessings to the martyrs of the path of truth and awareness; wishing honor and ultimate victory for the great and resilient Iranian nation and the front of truth against falsehood, by the grace of God.
