The Jordanian commentator, Dhaam Fawaz, tells us in a conversation from Amman after another night of missile launches from Iran to the Hashemite Kingdom: "What is happening today shows that Jordan is no longer just a bystander to what is happening between the United States and Iran, but has entered the circle of consequences of this confrontation. Jordan is following the developments with great concern, but is approaching them rationally and responsibly because Jordan's interest has always been to stay far from the center of the conflict and to protect its sovereignty, security, and borders. The fear today is not only from the confrontation between America and Iran, but that its consequences will expand to the entire region. As the escalation continues, the danger of miscalculation becomes greater and everyone pays a price that no one wants to pay."
