🔺🔻Letter from the Iranian envoy to the Security Council in response to US military actions against Iran The Iranian Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, in a letter to the Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council: 🔹Repeatedly targeting ports, airports, transportation facilities, emergency relief and response services, and other civilian locations is a war crime. 🔹The Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemns the aggressive actions of the United States and the deliberate targeting of civilian infrastructure by that country. 🔹These actions constitute a clear violation of Article 2, Paragraph 4 of the United Nations Charter, the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity, the prohibition of threat or use of force, and serious violations of international humanitarian law.
