Abbas Araqchi, Iran's Foreign Minister, in an interview with "Al-Arabi Al-Jadid": The agenda for tomorrow's meeting in Oman is a new maritime route in the Strait of Hormuz. We will provide the details of the agreement with Oman and maps related to the new route to the participating countries. The agreement with the Sultanate of Oman does not mean the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. Iran's condition for reopening the Strait of Hormuz is the return of the United States to its commitments in the Islamabad agreement. Iran believes that only regional countries are responsible for their own security and stability. We hope that these negotiations will pave the way for future consultations on topics of interest to the countries in the region.
