Baghaei: Iran's sovereign rights over the Strait of Hormuz are non-negotiable. Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesman: 🔹Even without relying on Article 5 of the memorandum, Iran, as a coastal state of the Strait of Hormuz, holds legal and sovereign rights. 🔹The experiences of military assaults by the U.S. and the Israeli regime, along with the participation of some regional countries, have proven that this vital waterway should not be allowed to be exploited against the security and national interests of the country. 🔹Iran is determined, in cooperation with Oman, to take necessary measures and arrangements to fully exercise its sovereignty and prevent any security threats in the Strait of Hormuz.
