Gas explosion in a residential unit in Narmak with no casualties 🔹Jalal Maleki, spokesperson for the Tehran Fire and Safety Services: At 2:04 AM today, an explosion in a residential unit located in the vicinity of Narmak's 95 Square was reported to the 125 emergency system, and immediately two fire stations were dispatched to the scene, with firefighters arriving in less than four minutes. 🔹The site of the incident was an old two-story house, the courtyard roof of which was covered with corrugated sheets. The gas regulator was located in the space beneath this roof, and due to the accumulation of gas in this area, an explosion occurred without fire; an incident that is referred to in firefighting terminology as a "cap." 🔹As a result of this explosion, the windows of the same house and the corrugated sheets and roofing were shattered, but fortunately, this incident caused no damage and no casualties or injuries were reported.
