Bernie Sanders, independent U.S. Senator: When I was a kid, the struggle was against the Vietnam War, a war that killed 59,000 Americans, and when they returned home and slept in the streets of this country, their number increased. That war was based on a lie. The war against Iraq, which I voted against when I was in Congress, was based on a lie. The war against Iran - "Oh, Iran will have nuclear weapons tomorrow and they will attack the United States" - is also based on a lie.
