Gas explosion in a residential unit in Narmak without loss of life Jalal Maleki, spokesperson for the Tehran Fire Department and Safety Services: 🔹 At 2:04 AM today, the explosion incident in a residential unit located around Meydan 95 Narmak was reported to the 125 system, and immediately two fire stations were dispatched to the scene, with firefighters arriving in less than four minutes. 🔹 The site of the incident was an old two-story house whose courtyard roof was covered with metal sheets. The gas regulator was located in the space beneath this roof, and due to the accumulation of gas in this area, an explosion occurred without fire; an incident that is technically referred to as a "cap" by firefighters. 🔹 As a result of this explosion, the windows of that house and the metal sheets and roof were damaged, but fortunately, this incident did not cause any destruction and there were no fatalities or injuries.
