Yesterday, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session—and continuing the dialogue facilitated by mediating countries between Iran and the US—another round of message exchanges and clarifications took place between the two sides through the Qatari mediator, Baqaei wrote in a post on X on Wednesday. ​ He said that during the process, which lasted approximately two hours, Iran’s "positions and conditions for reviving diplomacy" were conveyed to the US side in a way that left no room for doubt or ambiguity, ensuring the other party would have no grounds for excuses or pretexts. ​ The spokesperson explained further in his post, saying Iran’s conditions were clear and transparent, including a halt to US acts of aggression—including the maritime blockade and economic terrorism—an end to the war on all fronts, the release of frozen assets, and acceptance of safe shipping routes through the Strait of Hormuz, as agreed upon between the two littoral states of Iran and Oman. ​ The messages conveyed to the mediators made it clear that Iran is not engaged in direct negotiations and has only communicated its positions and conditions to the other parties. 📲 ​
