🎙 IRGC strikes US targets in Bahrain, declares Hormuz fully closed after halting vessels 📌 Tehran, IRNA – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says it has struck US military and technology-related targets in Bahrain, stopped four vessels attempting to transit the Strait of Hormuz, and declared the strategic waterway “completely closed” following continued US aggression against Iran. In three separate statements early on Saturday, the IRGC said the actions were carried out as part of the 17th wave of its “Nasr 2” military operation in response to US “war crimes.” ​ It said the United States carried out overnight attacks on several bridges, killing and injuring civilians. ​ “In response to these crimes, during the 17th wave of Operation Nasr-2 (Victory-2) under the blessed code ‘Ya Sahib al-Zaman Adrikni,’ the depot of US unmanned vessels in Bahrain was crushed in the early hours of today, and a large number of them burned in the fire,” one of the statements read. ​ The IRGC also said it had “completely destroyed” Bahrain’s main artificial intelligence center, which had been used in targeting operations for US war crimes. ​ The statement warned that if the United States continued attacking bridges and transportation infrastructure, Iran would target “the most important industrial, information technology and artificial intelligence assets of companies with American shareholders” across the region, adding that “all countries hosting US bases in the region are partners in these war crimes.” ​ In a separate statement, the IRGC Navy said four “violating” vessels attempted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz with the backing of the “terrorist US army.” ​ It said a combined missile and drone operation forced all four vessels to stop in place, warning shipowners not to rely on unfounded US military support and urging them to heed IRGC naval warnings. ​ In another statement, the IRGC said two oil tankers attempting to pass through a mined route south of the Strait of Hormuz “under deception by US intelligence organizations” exploded and caught fire. ​ The statement declared that the Strait of Hormuz had become “highly insecure and completely closed” because of US actions, adding that “until the aggressions of criminal America end, the export of chemical fertilizer and even a single drop of oil and gas from this region will not be possible.” ​ It warned all vessels not to enter the mined route in order to protect lives and property. 📲 ​
