🌍 Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan: World must not remain silent on US aggression 📌 Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri-Moghaddam, says the international community must condemn US recklessness and aggression and not remain silent, stressing that Tehran will never accept Washington’s arbitrary interpretation of the truce memorandum. In a post on X on Saturday, the ambassador said the United States has resumed its aggression against Iran in violation of a truce memorandum and international principles, destroying infrastructure after unilaterally interpreting the agreement contrary to its provisions. ​ The Iranian ambassador stressed that it was obvious the Iranian side would not accept this arbitrary interpretation, which clearly violated the memorandum. Now, he said, the United States has launched a war in violation of the memorandum’s provisions and international principles, destroying infrastructure. ​ Amiri-Moghaddam emphasized that the international community is expected to condemn the United States’ aggressive and reckless actions. ​ He went on to say that after months of mediation by Pakistan, a 14-point memorandum of understanding had been reached, with negotiations scheduled to continue within 60 days. ​ He added that the United States later interpreted the memorandum contrary to its provisions and disrupted parts of the Strait of Hormuz in an attempt to achieve what it could not gain on the battlefield. ​ Iran’s Foreign Ministry, referring to recent US attacks on Iran, stated Saturday that the warmongering US administration has once again betrayed diplomacy, and by disrespecting the mediating body and repeatedly violating the norms of dialogue and understanding, has violated and nullified all components of the June 18 truce memorandum. ​ Full responsibility for the consequences of this breach of commitment lies with the arrogant US regime, it added. 📲 ​
