🌍 Iran Army chief stresses stronger defense readiness after the war 📌 Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Armed Forces must strengthen their readiness and continue building defensive capabilities following the recent US-Israeli war against the country, Army Chief Major General Amir Hatami said during a meeting with Acting Defense Minister Brigadier General Majid Ibn-e-Reza. During the meeting on Wednesday, the two officials reviewed the latest developments and outcomes of the recent war, as well as measures needed to improve Iran’s military preparedness and defensive capabilities. ​ Hatami said Iran had emerged as the “definite winner” of the war, stressing that the enemy had failed to achieve any of its stated objectives. ​ He said the key measure in assessing a decisive war was the extent to which its objectives were achieved, adding that Iran’s armed forces had prevented those objectives from being fulfilled. ​ “The Islamic Republic of Iran stands stronger and more firmly after this war,” Hatami said, adding that the conflict had led the world to recognize Iran’s “real power” and deal with the country with greater respect. ​ “Our mission in this historic period is to improve our readiness while increasing our power so that final victory can be achieved,” he said. ​ He also warned that Iran would respond to any enemy action with a response several times stronger. ​ Ibn-e-Reza praised the sacrifices of Iran’s Armed Forces, including the Army, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and the Law Enforcement Command, saying their defense and resistance would remain in Iran’s history. ​ He said the war had shown that even under extensive sanctions and pressure, Iran could rely on domestic capabilities and indigenous capacity to withstand advanced technologies and emerge victorious.
