📡 ICT ministry’s priority was to ensure sustainable communications in Iran during war: Minister 📌 Gorgan, IRNA – Iran’s Minister of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Sattar Hashemi says his ministry made every effort to maintain communications services during the recent war despite damage to some infrastructure across the country. Hashemi made the remarks on Saturday evening during a meeting with Ayatollah Seyyed Kazem Nourmofidi, the Leader’s representative in Golestan Province, northern Iran. He said the ICT Ministry had made extensive efforts to keep communications services up and running without disruption, adding that the continuity of such services helped boost public resilience amid the wartime conditions. Hashemi noted that the ministry’s efforts were particularly focused on the southern parts of the country, which were among the main targets of US attacks in recent weeks. The minister arrived in Golestan Province by land on Saturday for a two-day visit to review communications projects in the northern province, including those serving rural areas. 📲
