🌍 Iran’s MP questions US failure to distinguish military targets from civilian sites 📌 Tehran, IRNA – Hasan Ghashghavi, spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, has questioned how the United States can fail to distinguish between military targets and civilian sites, following a US attack on a wedding ceremony in Sirik, Hormuzgan Province. Ghashghavi made the remarks in a post on X on Wednesday, reacting to the US attack on a wedding ceremony in the coastal city of Sirik the previous night. ​ “The regime that claims its satellite coverage allows it to closely monitor the movement of even the smallest creature on Earth, how can it fail to distinguish between military targets and a school or a wedding ceremony?” he wrote. ​ He added that the United States and its allies have been dropping bombs and firing missiles at defenseless people for decades, while leaving the justification of their crimes to fact-finding committees. ​ The US attacks on parts of Hormuzgan Province on Tuesday night targeted Bandar Abbas, Sirik, Jask, and Qeshm Island. A residential area and a wedding ceremony in Sirik County were among the sites hit in the attacks. At least five people were killed and dozens more wounded as a result. 📲 ​
