🔻 IRGC vows decisive response to any threat or aggression 📌 Tehran, IRNA – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has vowed to use all of its capabilities to defend Iran’s territorial integrity, independence, and national interests, saying it will respond decisively to any threat or act of aggression. In a statement issued on Monday to mark the anniversary of the return of Iranian prisoners of war (POWs) following the 1980–1988 Iran–Iraq War, the IRGC described them as symbols of patience, resistance, and steadfastness. ​ It emphasized that the memories and sacrifices of POWs create a lasting legacy and serve as an inspiration for future generations, as well as a testament to the injustices endured and the legitimacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. ​ In commemoration of the POWs and in honor of their sacrifice and resilience, the IRGC emphasized that, inspired by the POWs and under the guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, the elite forces will stand alongside other Armed Forces, fully prepared to defend the Islamic Revolution, the country’s territorial integrity, independence, dignity, and national interests, and will respond decisively to any threat or act of aggression. 📲 ​
