🖥 President calls for strengthening Iran’s legal deterrence in international forums 📌 Tehran, IRNA – President Masoud Pezeshkian, emphasizing the need for the systematic legal pursuit of US-Israeli crimes against the Iranian nation, says that steps must be taken to strengthen the country's legal deterrence power and influence in international arenas. Pezeshkian made the remarks on Saturday while chairing a specialized meeting attended by Minister of Justice Ayatollah Mohaghegh Damad and a group of prominent experts. The session was convened to examine the legal and judicial dimensions of the illegal joint American-Israeli war of aggression over the past year. According to the president, pursuing cases related to war crimes is not only an undeniable necessity for raising public awareness and vigilance but also serves as a foundation for enhancing Iran's legal influence in global forums, particularly by drawing on the knowledge and opinions of experts in the field. Appreciating the efforts made in preparing the "Comprehensive Atlas of Legal-Judicial Action Research" on the US-Israeli aggression and war crimes, Pezeshkian stressed the need for transparency and realism in documenting the findings. He also called for mobilizing the capacity of all Iranian intellectuals living abroad and Muslim lawyers worldwide to help bring the perpetrators to justice. Elsewhere in his remarks, Pezeshkian described the current level of coordination among the heads of the executive, legislative, and judicial branches as unprecedented, stating that the trio has consistently strived to safeguard the rights and interests of the Iranian nation. The president added that Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf and Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei deserve appreciation, as they have always backed the administration with full commitment—despite occasionally facing what he described as unfair criticism. A group of lawyers and university professors also outlined the requirements and potential solutions for confronting the legal challenges arising from the criminal actions of the United States and the Israeli regime. 📲 ​
