⚡️ Army spokesperson says ‘Iranian order’ prevails in Strait of Hormuz 📌 Tehran, IRNA – Army spokesperson Brigadier General Mohammad Akrami-Nia says that an “Iranian order” now prevails in the Strait of Hormuz, describing the strategic waterway as Iranian. Speaking on Tuesday about the recent US-Israeli-imposed war against Iran and the calculations of Iran’s adversaries, Akrami-Nia said they had expected economic problems, public dissatisfaction and regional conditions to lead Iranians to take to the streets against the government if Iran was attacked. ​ He said the Iranians, instead, disrupted those calculations through their active presence in the scene. ​ Akrami-Nia said the aim of Iran’s adversaries was to weaken and overthrow the Islamic Republic, while another strategic objective was to advance plans for a “Greater Israel” in the region. He said Iranians had defended the country’s independence and territorial integrity during the 1980-88 Iraqi-imposed war and had again prevented their adversaries from achieving their objectives during the recent conflict. ​ He said the adversary had expected to surprise Iran with a rapid operation, but had instead been surprised by public participation, the resistance of the Armed Forces and Iran’s defense capabilities. ​ Akrami-Nia said one of the important outcomes of the recent war was the establishment of an “Iranian order” in the Strait of Hormuz, adding that the Armed Forces were committed to maintaining the situation. ​ He said the adversary was seeking through media coverage to portray shipping traffic in the strait as normal, but energy markets and shipping conditions showed the situation was different from before the war. ​ The army spokesman described the Strait of Hormuz as an Iranian strategic asset and said the Armed Forces would defend the country’s rights with strength and determination and would not allow the waterway to be exploited as it had been in the past. 📲 ​
