💬 ‘We treat every threat as real’: Acting defense minister 📌 Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s acting defense minister says the country considers every threat by its adversaries to be real and worthy of serious attention. In a message posted on his social media account on Sunday in reaction to enemy threats, Brigadier General Majid Ebn-e-Reza said, “The enemy’s recent statements, although made within the framework of psychological operations and cognitive warfare, are viewed by us as real and credible threats.” ​ He declared that Iran would neither be caught by surprise nor remain passive, adding, “We use every threat as a basis for increasing preparedness, strengthening deterrence, and enhancing our capabilities.” ​ It came after US President Donald Trump backed out of declared attacks on Iran’s energy infrastructure following stern warnings from Iranian officials that any new US or Israeli aggression will be met with decisive retaliation. ​ Late on Saturday, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan, that Tehran remained prepared to defend its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security. ​ “Any hostile action by the US or Israel, or participation or cooperation by regional countries in such actions, will be met with a decisive and proportionate response from Iran’s powerful armed forces,” he said. 📲 ​
