In a post on his X account on Thursday, Gharibabadi wrote that the US military approach produced no results and said that Washington is now presenting its next failure under the label of an “economic war.” ​ He added that the core problem lies in Washington’s repeated miscalculations, which, in his view, push US officials to create a bigger failure each time in order to cover the previous one. ​ Gharibabadi noted that US officials claim Iran is on the verge of collapse while, at the same time, reaching out to their allies for support. ​ He stressed that recent remarks by President Donald Trump — in which he asserted that the United States is launching an unprecedented economic operation against Iran and warned countries and institutions assisting Iran of severe consequences — reflect this same pattern. 📲 ​
