Emergency meeting of the joint chiefs of staff of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan 🔹 The Saudi Foreign Ministry announced that the chiefs of staff of the armed forces of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan are set to examine ways to support Riyadh in an urgent meeting under the framework of the "Mecca Agreement for Joint Defense." 🔹 Just hours ago, the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey discussed holding an urgent meeting of the chiefs of staff of the armed forces of the three countries to explore ways to support Saudi Arabia against attacks from Yemen in New York. 🔸 According to the "Joint Defense" agreement in Mecca, if one member's territory is attacked, the other two members are supposed to intervene militarily; however, since the signing of this agreement on the 7 August, the level of cooperation has not gone beyond holding meetings and issuing statements.
