💬 Iranian, Omani FMs speak ahead of Hormuz meeting 📌 Tehran, IRNA – Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has held a telephone conversation with his Omani counterpart, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, to discuss issues of mutual interest. Araghchi, who is in New Delhi as part of a delegation accompanying President Masoud Pezeshkian to the 18th BRICS Leaders' Summit, spoke with Al Busaidi over the phone on Saturday evening. ​ The two top diplomats consulted on the latest regional developments and bilateral issues. ​ Araghchi is scheduled to attend a foreign minister-level meeting of Iran and other Persian Gulf littoral states this week in Oman. Regional issues, including a Tehran–Muscat deal to manage shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, are on the agenda of the upcoming meeting. 📲 ​
