🎙 IRGC strikes inflict heavy damage on US bases in Jordan 📌 Tehran, IRNA – The IRGC announces it has struck American military installations at Jordan’s King Faisal and Prince Hassan air bases in Wave 25 of Operation Nasr 2, destroying eight brand-new MQ-9 drones, heavily damaging two others, knocking out two heavy American helicopters, and killing and wounding an unspecified number of US forces. The IRGC said in statement No. 42, issued Wednesday, that the operation was conducted under the code phrase “Ya Hassan Ibn Ali (AS)” and dedicated to the martyrs of the Shajareh Tayyebah school in Minab. ​ “The brave fighters of the IRGC Aerospace Force, trusting in Almighty God, once again struck the American bases in Jordan,” the statement read. ​ In the first stage of the retaliatory strike, the IRGC said a missile and drone attack on King Faisal and Prince Hassan bases targeted an F-15 preparation hangar. ​ A subsequent strike on a drone preparation hangar “completely destroyed eight brand-new, still-packaged MQ-9 drones before assembly,” with two additional units in the compound sustaining heavy damage, the IRGC added. ​ “In the next strike on the helicopter storage hangar, major damage was inflicted on two heavy American helicopters,” the statement said. ​ “In the strike on a troop accommodation facility, a number of the aggressor forces were killed and wounded,” it added. ​ The statement said America’s “aggressions in recent nights were carried out under the pretext of retaliating for the explosion of violating vessels,” adding that the previous night, “despite the temptation of ship crews, no vessel dared attempt passage through the illegal southern route of the strait, and naturally no explosion occurred either.” ​ “Yet the child-killing American army did not abandon its aggressive nature and repeated air and missile attacks on a number of our military and civilian centers,” the statement continued, “and is now receiving crushing responses.” ​ “The punishment operation against the aggressor continues,” the IRGC stressed, “because if the aggressor is not punished and does not pay a heavy price for breaking its pledges and trampling on agreements, it will assume that whenever it wishes it can restart the war, and whenever it comes under pressure it can end it, repeating the cycle of war, negotiation, and war again, keeping the shadow of war permanently over our heads.” ​ “The only way to restore deterrence and establish lasting security is to carry out the Quranic command: ‘Fight them until there is no more strife,’“ the statement said. ​ The IRGC reminded that “there is no way to permanently remove the shadow of war from the country except through steadfastness and imposing a heavy cost on the aggressor.” ​ “If these responses do not suffice and the aggressions continue, we are prepared for a regret-inducing operation that will be followed by a general declaration of mourning in the US,” it further warned. 📲 ​
