Khatam al-Anbiya, which is the operational headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces, said in a statement early Wednesday that the United States had threatened to attack Iran’s nuclear and sensitive sites. ​ It warned that if the “aggressor and terrorist” US military takes such action, Iran would consider it an expansion of the war in the region, adding that “all interests of the United States, its allies and supporters” would come under powerful attacks by the Iranian Armed Forces. ​ The warning came after US President Donald Trump claimed on Tuesday, during a meeting with his Lebanese counterpart at the White House, that the United States would “soon” target Iran’s Kuh-e Kolang (Pickaxe Mountain) facility. 📲 ​
